ITMACH Bhiwandi, which was held from 22-24th January 2014 in the city, was the first textile machinery event of its kind organised in the country’s largest powerloom cluster. The show attracted over 100 exhibitors, who showcased technologies and machines for weaving and weaving preparatory, spinning and accessories, processing and finishing, printing, and other related segments. ITMACH Bhiwandi offered a one-of-a-kind opportunity to business visitors from the city and across the textile clusters of the country, to see the latest and most appropriate technologies spanning the textile value chain and network.
The most significant achievement of the show was the visitor response. In addition to Bhiwandi based industry, business delegates arrived from Ichalkaranji, Kolhapur, Malegaon, Burhanpur, Solapur, Ujjain, Ludhiana, Panipat, Banaras, Bhilwara, Surat, Tarapore and from south Indian textile hubs like Belgaum, Hubli, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode etc for the three day extravaganza. Many business deals were finalised on the show while several exhibitors generated huge serious business enquiries.
